The primary aim of the Symposium is to give an opportunity to the Romanian and foreign experts, researchers and PhD students to present their latest results as well as to meet, establish and cultivate personal and professional relations.
The Symposium will start with the plenary session and will continue its work in the following fields:
Geodesy, GNSS, Cartography, Photogrammetry, Topography, Cadastre,
GIS, Land Registry, Territorial Planning, Civil Engineering and Sustainability.
Official language of the Symposium: Romanian and English (in case the presentation is given in Romanian, a transparency in English is required).
Publishing language: English

All the accepted papers will be published in the next issue of the RevCAD Journal of Geodesy and Cadastre http://revcad.uab.ro/, registered in the international database Index Copernicus, Directory of Research Journals Indexing – DRJI, Academic Resource Index - Research Bib, J-Gate and CEEOL.
In addition to the GeoCAD Symposium, there will be workshops on actual issues, organized in partnership with Romanian Surveyors Union and National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registry.
